Felicia Woods
Meet The Founder
Inspired by her passion for women and children suffering from abusive relationships Felicia Woods started Eagles Wings Sanctuary to offer non-residential support services to survivors of domestic violence and their children who don’t need shelter but are in need of mental and emotional support. Felicia saw the need in the central Florida area for more resources to empower these women with the tools needed to escape their current situation.

Eagles Wings Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations and gifts are tax-deductible. We receive donations in a variety of forms, from monetary gifts to volunteering time. What is Domestic Violence?
Abuse occurs when batters believe that they have the right to control their partners. An abuser may use physical or sexual violence, emotional hurt, economic, and psychological actions and/or threats to gain control over their partner through fear and intimidation. Domestic abuse happens in every part of the community to women of every race, ethnicity, class, age, ability or disability, education level and religion.
